Everyone has his or her own special talents, something they are good at and enjoy doing. Talents can be shared to help others. Imagine what can be accomplished when many people get together and combine their skills, abilities and efforts. This happens at Our Lady of the Lake every day.

The Volunteer program at Our Lady of the Lake is an essential part of the continued success of the hospital. Our volunteers are a valuable resource to our staff and our patients. The services provided by volunteers are essential in meeting our goal of offering high quality patient care and service. There are many opportunities for people willing to share their time and capabilities.

Summer Ambassador Program for Teens

If your teen is interested in learning more about healthcare through our special program that allows them to visit and volunteer in areas of the hospital in a structured environment, we are presently taking applications for our Summer Ambassador Program for Teens. 

This is a five-week program for teens ages 15 to 17 starting on June 4, 2010 through July 18, 2012.  If interested, please click here to start the application process.  Deadline to apply is May 23, 2012.  Spacing is limited.
