Local Calls: There is no charge for local calls, which may be made by dialing 9 followed by the desired number.

Long Distance Calls: Long distance calls may be placed from the patient's room. Dial 6 + 0 + area code + the 7 digit telephone number. These calls are intercepted by an operator who will complete the call through third party billing to the patient's home number or credit card. Long distance calls may not be billed to the hospital room. If you experience any difficulty in completing your call, dial zero for assistance from the hospital operator.

Calling Cards: For your convenience, calling cards are available for purchase at the Above & Beyond Gift Shop.
Patient Room Telephone Numbers: When calling a patient room from outside of the hospital, dial (225) 374 plus the patient's four-digit room number.

At Your Request Room Service Dining
OLOL is pleased to offer At Your Request Room Service Dining® with food service partner Sodexo. Patients can order what they want from an extensive restaurant-style menu anytime between 6:30 am and 8 pm, seven days a week, as long as the requested meal is in line with the physician ordered diet.

Room service operators ensure patient's dietary restrictions and nutritional needs are followed with every order.  To reach Room Service from your patient room, dial 5-5555.
