Community Health Assessment

In compliance with the 2010 Affordable Care Act, the OLOL Community Advocacy team facilitated discussions and processes for completing the Community Health Needs Assessment.

Assessing community health needs and developing the appropriate plans to address these needs are essential to improving and sustaining the health of our communities. To do so, we must understand our community, the needs identified, and the process for moving forward to improve the health of Baton Rouge.

OLOL sits among forty community organizations including other local area hospitals in an open collaborative effort, called the Mayor’s Healthy City Initiative, to improve the health of the Baton Rouge community.
