Our Lady of the Lake offers a full range of services for adolescents with emotional problems or substance abuse problems, including:

After the initial assessment and diagnosis, patients will be recommended for inpatient hospitalization or outpatient treatment -- each of which is comprised of individual and group therapy, family involvement and, if applicable, coordination with the patient's school.
Inpatient Adolescent Center
Our Lady of the Lake's Inpatient Adolescent Center, which offers crisis stabilization in a safe, secure, nurturing environment, is staffed with Board-Certified child and adolescent psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, pastoral counselors and other licensed professionals. Our inpatient program also offers treatment for individuals suffering from a "dual diagnosis," which means that the person is suffering from both emotional and chemical dependency issues at the same time, for example: depression coupled with alcohol abuse or anxiety coupled with drug abuse.
