Additional Amenities Throughout Our Facility
Our Lady of the Lake has introduced two new patient amenities: the GetWell Network and At Your Request Room Service Dining®. These innovative concepts will be extended into the new tower, improving patient education, communication and delivering a unique meal service experience.
Get Well Network
With our new interactive television system called the Get Well Network, patient education is the primary goal. Patients have access to specific resources that allow them to learn more about their condition, treatment plan, care team, hospital services and discharge instructions. Through the network, patients can also contact caregivers directly to provide feedback about their care. The enhanced communication features enable hospital staff to immediately respond to patients' needs for an improved patient and family experience. The bedside system also gives patients access to free on-demand movies, video games, music, internet and email. These communication tools help patients feel more at home, connected and relaxed during their hospital stay.
We now offer At Your Request Room Service Dining, allowing patients to order whatever they want, when they want it as long as the kitchen is open and the requested meal is in line with the physician-ordered diet. With Room Service, patients can select from a restaurant-style menu and can order anytime between 6:30 am and 8 pm, seven days a week. The extensive menu includes more than 35 entrees, 15 desserts and many comfort food items.
