Myopathic changesDefinition: Myopathic changes are weakness or biopsy results that suggest a muscle disorder, such as muscular dystrophy .
Causes, incidence, and risk factors:
Symptoms: The main symptom is weakness (for example, when walking up stairs).
Signs and tests: A tissue sample (biopsy) looked at under a microscope will show changes to the muscle.
