Provides high quality patient-focused health care services that meet the assessed and individually planned needs and desires of all patients on the nursing unit. The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of nursing care and competency, utilizing equipment in a prudent manner, working to prevent the risk of infection, and observing departmental and hospital policies and procedures in an effort toward providing efficient services in a safe and therapeutic patient care environment.
