Open around the clock, 365 days a year, Our Lady of the Lake Emergency Department (ED) is staffed by highly skilled physicians, certified emergency room nurses and technicians. Trained to respond in life-or-death situations, the med-control radio system links ambulances and emergency helicopters to the ED. There is also a special Children's Emergency Room, a Fast Track system for less critical or non-life-threatening emergencies for area employers.
